CVD Equipment
Corporation
, located in Central Islip, NY, has an opportunity for an
Electrical Assembler/Wirer.
The
Electrical Assembler wires and assembles electrical and electronic
circuits and systems of parts and sub-assemblies in the manufacture of
Semiconductor, Nanotechnology, and Industrial Deposition Equipment.

What you will do:

  • ·
    Proactively
    adhere to all safety standards and established protocols.
  • ·
    Read
    and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
  • ·
    Identify
    components and wiring information from schematics and perform point to point
    wiring.
  • ·
    Fabricate
    and install wiring harnesses, ducts, track, and cabling.
  • ·
    Install
    Electro-mechanical components to custom main frame assemblies.
  • ·
    Identify
    and select appropriate wire gauge in accordance with NFPA 70 NEC.
  • ·
    Perform
    cabling, harnessing and PCA manufacturing.
  • ·
    Ensure
    product conformance to specification.
  • ·
    Operate
    small hand and power tools such as drills, taps, etc.

 

Education
& Experience

  • ·
    High
    School graduate or equivalent with Vocational/Trade School/Military training in
    Electrical Concepts or equivalent experience.
  • ·
    Electrical
    Assembler 1-3 years; Senior Electrical Assembler 4-6 years of relevant
    electrical assembly and wiring experience.

Required
Skills & Abilities:

  • ·
    Ability
    to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • ·
    Skills
    required in handling basic or simple tools and/or measuring devices such as
    tape measure, caliper, etc.
  • ·
    Manual
    dexterity skills, good hand and eye coordination.
  • ·
    Attention
    to detail.
  • ·
    Mechanical
    aptitude.
