Known for our fresh Greek cuisine, award-winning wine list, and vibrant atmosphere, Calissa is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. In addition to our food service, we host an array of private events, live performances, and seasonal activations, including our summer DJ series and partnerships with luxury brands.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Marketing and Event Coordinator to support the planning, promotion, and execution of events and marketing initiatives at Calissa and its sister brand, Charlie Fox, a new luxury cannabis dispensary in Southampton. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities across event coordination, customer communications, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coordination:

  • Research, source, and present event concepts, vendor options, and partner opportunities

  • Assist with planning and executing private events, brand activations, and in-house programming

  • Respond to customer inquiries about private events and group dining

  • Coordinate logistics and maintain timelines for event planning and execution

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials

  • Organize and manage promotional events

Administrative & Organizational Tasks:

  • Maintain and update event and customer databases

  • Perform data entry and manage spreadsheets related to sales, marketing, and events

  • Coordinate with internal departments (culinary, operations, reservations) to ensure smooth event execution

Design & Graphics:

  • Create simple marketing collateral (flyers, social media graphics, menus, etc.)

  • Use Photoshop or similar tools to edit and format visuals for both digital and print use

  • Collaborate with the creative team or external vendors on branding materials when needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in event coordination, marketing, hospitality, or a related field

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Word, and email tools

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar programs preferred

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends during the summer season

  • Based in or willing to commute to Water Mill and Southampton, NY
