
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Roslyn Landmark Society is seeking a bookkeeper
possessing knowledge of non-profit financial management, preferably with
construction project and grant funding experience. Proficiency in Microsoft
Excel and QuickBooks accounting software is essential, along with a sharp eye
for detail and unwavering accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills are desired to collaborate effectively with our team, project director,
and board of trustees.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Report directly to the Executive
Director of the Roslyn Landmark Society
● Oversee all financial operations,
including payroll
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date
financial records
● Generate financial reports and
statements
● Maintain donor & sponsorship
financial records
● Assist in grant applications on an
accounting level
● Manage cash flow and reconcile
accounts
● Aid in preparation for 990 and annual
audit
● Update and maintain Financial
Analysis Ledgers, Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Payment
Reports
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of three years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
- Must have expertise in Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks Online
- A proactive approach to problem solving and financial task
management
JOB DETAILS
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: Approx. 20-25 hours per week
Experience level: 3 years +
Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible schedule with some remote work possible)
