Adult daycare program for frail, elderly seniors, and individuals with Alzheimer’s are related dementias, in Port Jefferson is seeking a program assistant, Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 3:00 and 930 to 330. Responsibilities include supporting and assisting the program leader to ensure participant safety and ability to socialize and engage in activities. Assist with meal service and cleanup, participant ADLs, (including toileting, ambulation, and transferring as needed) and maintain general cleanliness of the program among other tasks training will be provided.
